Description

Pond de-icers are used to keep a small hole open in the ice during freezing conditions.  The hole allows harmful gases to escape from the pond water. The gas is caused by decomposing leaves, dead algae, fish waste, etc.
Tested in Northern Wisconsin ponds down to -39 degrees Fahrenheit. This option is completely enclosed in plastic.
